Zhuo Chen (M.A. in Anthropology, 2020, Oregon State University). Inspired by research in Anthropology, Science and Technology Studies, and related fields, Zhuo used an ethnographic approach to explore the identities, knowledge production processes, and living experiences of a community of engineers working on a multi-national renewable energy project site in Israel for her master thesis. She explored how engineers from various national and cultural backgrounds worked to shape and maintain networks of interconnection at the intersection of technology and the environment. Zhuo is actively involved in the LICCI project in various ways, she is engaged in the wild edible plant’s group and will carry out LICCI protocol in Southeast Asian countries.
