Before launching the LICCI project we conducted an online survey to capture “experts’ opinion” about the feasibility of incorporating LICCIs in climate change studies. The survey was completed by 190 Spanish scientists working on climate change issues who gave their opinion about the potential contribution of LICCI to improve our understanding of climate change effects in the climatic, physical, biological and in the human food-production systems at the local level.
