Mariam Abazeri

(M.A. in Environmental Policy, 2014, Sciences Po, Paris) is a PhD student at the Abess Center for Interdisciplinary Ecosystem Science and Policy at the University of Miami. Her research interests lie in collective action and co-creation, traditional resource governance approaches, and socio-ecological adaptation to crises. During her master’s degree, she examined the drivers for and impacts of collective action in consumption and waste management practices in India. Her current work for her PhD and at LICCI focuses on the role of participatory visual and research methods in organizing and facilitating adaptive strategies to water scarcity and climate change in Iran.
