
Dr Ibrahim Sidi Zakari (PhD in Statistics, 2013, Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, Morocco and Lille 1 University, France) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, Niger). He served as data analyst and modeller at the division of economic policy and poverty of CAPED Niger (prime minister’s office).
Ibrahim research interests include open data, big data, citizen science, traditional knowledge, dynamics of population, multivariate data analysis and high dimensional statistical modelling. Facts that are contributing to better understand local indicators and perceived impacts of climate change as well as adaptation measures from pastoralism communities within the semi-arid Sahel zone of Africa.
