(BSc in Biology, 2016, University of Innsbruck) is an MSc student in Organic Agricultural Systems and Agroecology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (BOKU). In her bachelor thesis, she studied the influence of climatic changes on the growth of trees along the timber line in the Central Eastern Alps (Tyrol, Austria). Her current research interests include ecology and the relation between humans and their local environment and her topic of specialization is local ecological knowledge within agricultural systems in high altitude regions. In her master thesis, which is part of the LICCI project, she explores ecological and socio-economic changes observed by local communities in the Tyrolean Alps as well as the communities’ capacities to adapt to these changes.
